From the end of September a corner of the SUPERMARKT space will be covered in silence. Only the rustle of turning pages and some soft coughs will be heard. We get a study table! On Tuesday the 24th of September between 15.00 and 17.00 this table will be introduced with a small workshop / gathering.

The development of the afternoon is quite open. We gather around the table to take a look at all the great books that we received from different publishers. We could think and discuss together about ways to arrange and use the study table, and about possible future subjects of the materials. Jurriaan Pots will tell something about the study table in art history and the ‘exhibiting’ of study tables as an artwork. Maybe, before we know, everyone will be absorbed by a tremendously interesting book.

You don’t have to make a reservation: just sneak in silently and take a seat. You are very welcome to bring a book, article, picture, pencil or paperweight.
