FrauenMacht

12. June 2014 @ 17:30 - 20:30

Every day is Women’s Day.

“Be a Lady! Be Cute! Be weak! Clean! Cook! Look after the children! But do not forget the work! And please always look good!” Why are such unrealistic expectations placed on women, and why do these expectations make it so difficult for women to combine work and family life?

A group of young women from the JugendtheaterBüro in Moabit Berlin came up with their own answers to these questions in the piece “90/60/90: Rollenscheiß!”. At this event they will perform some scenes from the piece, and in an open round we will then discuss with the the powerful journey of feminism such as the one discovered through the “Rollenscheiß” project.
