The next public conversation of the Switch On Mehringplatz program presents the manifold experience of the metroZones collective in urban research, art and education. metroZones will present some of their recent projects on urban peripheries as „Hellersdorfer Tapete“ and „metroZapp“ on Moritzplatz, as well as the „metroZones School for Urban Acting“.

How can we employ artistic practice and creativity to foster urban transformation and social empowerment? What languages can be used to involve marginalised social groups in local initiatives and reclaim the right to the city?

Such questions will be the starting point for a discussion with the members of metroZones Kathrin Wildner, Christian Hanussek and Erwin Riedmann.
