Creative Resource Center
The SUPERMARKT team is currently converting a former supermarket and four retail studios into a creative resource center for freelancers, artists and start-ups in the heart of Berlin. We offer spaces for various professional needs: desks, offices, presentation-and workshop facilities as well as bigger venues for conferences and other large scale events. Located just a few subway stops from Alexanderplatz, SUPERMARKT also provides access to an exciting network of people and services from all walks of cultural, creative and business life. The SUPERMARKT STUDIOS are spatially & conceptually closely connected to the SUPERMARKT.

Working together - sharing resources
People from all walks of art, culture and creative business inhabit our studios. They either work collaboratively on projects or individually, according to their needs. Our main focus is not just on physically sharing workspace, but rather on the various options of collaboration and sharing resources. Our four studios can be used as office space, for presentations, meetings or workshops. We offer a unique resource center allowing for a variety of projects, large and small. There is still space available for good ideas!

The SUPERMARKT as a creative resource center for the Brunnenviertel
Supermarkt is a place like no other: the former Kaiser's supermarket with its 600 m2 is currently being converted into a center for creative events and gatherings. With its coffee shop and bar, conference and workshop area, walk-in refrigerators and loading bays the SUPERMARKT offers a highly flexible space for a variety of events. The infrastructure of a former grocery store allows for large scale events including catering. Instead of convenience goods the SUPERMARKT now offers exciting events around digital culture, alternative economies and social innovation. SUPERMARKT's cafébar is open Mondays thru Fridays from 10am-6pm.
The SUPERMARKT presents its own program and hosts a range of cutting-edge partner events. The entire space can also be leased for conferences, workshops and events of all kinds. More information about the Supermarkt.

About the team
The Supermarkt team is an international network of freelancers with experience working in communications, marketing, cultural production and IT. This core team are curator and producer Ela Kagel and web entrepreneurs David Farine and Zsolt Szentirmai. They manage the Supermarkt from their office in Studio 2 with many partners and freelancers, most of them also based in Brunnenstraße.
